Broadway at the Beach is a popular destination for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you are a visitor or a local; there are many fun things to do at this location. There are unique shops, restaurants, night clubs, movie theaters, The Palace Theatre, <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Pavilion Nostalgia Park and Ripley’s Aquarium. Located just across the street is NASCAR Speed Park and Myrtle Waves Water Park. Coastal Field, home of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, is also located near by. May 2009 Market Statistics for <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Horry County, South Carolina<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Property sales were up again in May for Horry County. This means we have had an increase each month for 2009. Active listings decreased slightly. New listings were also down with 1669 compared to 1931 in April. If these trends continue for the rest of the year, hopefully we can eliminate some of the inventory.
